These are the sort of questions we all ponder, and yet the answers always seem to elude us until by chance or perhaps fate we literally bump straight into them. The God Stone: The stone paradox resolved

For centuries, cynics, skeptics, and atheists have tried dethroning God with various semantic arguments that lead to logical contradiction. One such class of paradoxes are the “omnipotence paradoxes.” These have been used to argue omnipotence is logically impossible and that God, if there is God, cannot be omnipotent. The connotation of the argument, however, seems to be that there is no God at all.
